Happy New Year!!

What a way to end 2006 and begin 2007.

We ended 2006 with a dance for students in grades 4-12. The attendance at the Youth/Teen Social was phenomenal!! We entertained 98 students in the course of 5 1/2 hours. Every grade was represented. Check out the collages George did hanging on the PYO bulletin board at church. Thank you to everyone who participated. Look for another social soon!!!

We began 2007 with a Family Fun Night on January 14th. 24 families were in attendance. The winner of the Connect Four Tournament was Erica Gehring.

2007 will continue with a "Taste of Italy" dinner. The dinner begins following the 4:30 mass on February 3rd. Enjoy a sit down with family and friends. Detailed information is located on our website. We are in need of students servers currently in grades 7-12. This is a great way to earn service hours!!

Scriptures Alive is back!! Students in grades 2 through 6 will meet on Friday afternoons at 3:30 in Madonna Hall. Students in grades 7 through 12 will meet Sunday evenings at 6:00PM in Madonna Hall. Each session will last one hour. Snacks and drinks will be provided. If you have any questions, please call Wilma McGlasson @ 729-0222.

Thank you to Missy Kauffman for her many years of service on the PTO/PYO board. Missy recently resigned from the board. Her input has brought a lot of good things for our children throughout the years. With her resignation, we have a vacancy on the board. If you are interested in a position on the board, please contact George Hilleary or send us an email, stmmpyo@yahoo.com.

Our next board meeting is February 12th at 7:00PM in Room 21. We encourage everyone to attend these meetings and help enrich the lives of our parish students through social activities as well as spiritual.
