Minutes
The meeting was called to order by George Hilleary with a prayer at Roll call showed all present. Minutes from the previous meeting were accepted by Jenni Petrey and Roz Sheehan. Correspondence included thank you’s from Nikki Wright and Megan Petrey for their scholarships. Also Ronald McDonald House, B. Clarke, the Johansing’s and Kassee Florea and Greg Lech for their IDive experience.
Treasurer’s report: $9,000.00+ balance left from last year. A plan is in place to audit the accounts every six (6) months. All present received a detailed printout of how the money was spent last year and also a budget for the coming year. Jenni provided a detailed explanation of all the information. The budget was accepted by the PYO Board Members present.
Old Business:
None left from last meeting in May 2008.
New Business:
- The PYO Calendar was distributed and discussed. All activities were assigned a chairperson(s). See attached sheet for chairperson(s) involved.
- Upcoming Activities:
August 23, 2008 Ice Cream Social (Jenni Petrey)
September 13, 2008 Parish Appreciation Celebration – tentatively scheduled
October 25, 2008 Parky’s Farm 6p @ Winton Woods Jenni will place in bulletin
- SMM (Y.E.S.) will participate every 5th Tuesday at St. Paul’s to assist serving the meal. Cooking starts at 4p and the meal is served at 5:30p.
Committees:
- Sunshine – Sharon Kauffman would like to resign from the position and needs a replacement.
- Surveys – Kelly McClain – Two surveys this week.
- Market Day – Angie Osterbrock – Dates are set-up for the year. Time change discussed but no decision at this time. People can call Angie if they miss the cut-off for ordering.
- Service Club – George Hilleary – In process of setting up dates for Bingo at Mt. Healthy Christian Home.
