Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone….
Spring is almost upon us and I am sure all of us can’t wait to get to some warmer weather. The PYO Board would like to thank everyone for their support of our past activities. It was so nice seeing everyone at the Italian Night. A special thanks to all our servers who took a Saturday night off to help us and to Bill Johansing who got us the wonderful linens for the tables. It was very much appreciated.
We have our Easter Eggstravaganza coming up on March 31st at 10 a.m. Please come and have breakfast with us in the cafeteria. If you can help out please let myself or Jenni Petrey know. We can use all the help we can get.
Have you been to the revamped web site lately? (www.stmmpyo.com) Jenni Petrey has put a lot of time and effort into this and it really is packed full of all the information you need for all our activities. How about putting this as your home page!!!
Tried Market day? Some new people have begun buying it and they have had nothing but good things to say about the quality of the food. The PYO receives 10% of each order placed. Need service hours??? We are in need of students to help sort and organize orders every month. We begin at 9:30 and go until the last order is picked up. If you can spare some time, young or old, it would be greatly appreciated.
Eight Grade Scholarship Packets will be mailed the week of March 12th. If your child is planning on attending a Catholic High School next year, please make sure to enter. A total of $1,200.00 will be awarded. If you do not receive a packet or have any questions, please contact Lisa Jagoditz, 931-3959.

Youth/Teen Socials are going to take place again on April 9th. If you were not able to attend them in December, then you don't want to miss this one. Please visit the website for more details and the required permission slips. Contact any board member with questions.
Did you know April 15th-21st is National Volunteer Week? We are planning a special event for all of our volunteers. We would not be able to do what we do without your support. Please keep April 15th open on your calendars. We are planning a grill out and games. More information will follow as the week's progress.

As you may know, each year the PTO of St. Margaret Mary holds a general meeting in May to honor the accomplishments of the year and to recognize certain individuals who have made significant contributions to the PTO/PYO over the years. We are holding this meeting/celebration on May 15th in the school cafeteria. We will be asking for nominations from you towards the end of April.
The current board works very hard to fulfill the needs of the students and the parish. We are not holding elections this year. However, we are extending an open invitation to anyone who would like to become a part of the board. If you would like to join, please attend the next board meeting taking place on April 16th. We meet in Room 21 at 7:00PM.
Finally,
There is a meeting next Thursday, March 22nd at St. Ann Church beginning at 7:00PM. I encourage all parents who will have grade school children to attend. We will be discussing the future of Catholic education in our deanery with the formation of a Regional School. You can get more information from the C.A.R.E News website.
